  • Morning:
    • Departure from Marrakech (around 8:00 AM) by private transport.
    • Drive to the village of Imlil (1,740 meters altitude), which takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
    • Arrival in Imlil, meet the local mountain guide and muleteer team. Begin the hike towards Toubkal Refuge.
  • Afternoon:
    • The trek takes about 5-6 hours, passing through the Ait Mizane Valley, past the village of Aroumd and the Muslim shrine at Sidi Chamharouch (2,310 meters).
    • Lunch at a scenic spot along the trail.
    • Continue trekking until reaching the Toubkal Refuge (3,207 meters) by late afternoon.
  • Evening:
    • Relax at the refuge, enjoy dinner, and rest up for the ascent the next day.
    • Overnight at the refuge (shared dormitory-style accommodation).
  • Early Morning:
    • Wake up early to begin the ascent of Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa (4,167 meters).
    • The ascent takes about 3-4 hours, depending on pace, and includes stunning panoramic views over the Atlas range and, on a clear day, the Sahara Desert in the distance.
  • Late Morning:
    • After reaching the summit, spend some time enjoying the views and taking photos before descending back to the refuge.
  • Afternoon:
    • Lunch at the refuge.
    • Trek back down to Imlil (4-5 hours), where the driver will be waiting.
    • Drive back to Marrakech, arriving in the early evening (around 6:00-7:00 PM).
